A fun, joy filled weekend turned into a depressing and difficult week. Of course, we’re still hanging on by a thread that actual, tangible help will come here… but honestly at times it feels like the thread is starting to shred.

Spirit, Delta, and AA planes all were shot by the gangs in Port Au Prince. The FAA banned all American planes from flying into Haiti, including our cargo planes, for at least a month.

Is everything near collapse? Even if, my children have no way to escape. They’re here no matter how bad it gets and that’s where hope wants to be lost.

But we hang tight, trust Jesus, dwell on His promises, and never give up hope. Because He has proven His faithfulness time and time again!
