Meet Esther

Esther (Essie Mae) Essie was brought to La Limyè at just one-week-old by her 16-year-old uncle after her mother had passed away. Shortly after arriving, she became ill with Bronchiolitis, stopped breathing, and spent three nights in the ER. She is now strong and fierce and did not let that illness stop her!

Essie is a chubby 2-year-old that loves to look at pictures on the cell phone. She is slowly learning how to talk and becoming quite independent. Essie is a miracle and a blessing, and we thank God for her every day. May she be a light to everyone she meets. She is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we are blessed to have her at La Limyè.
